bsb2Admitted to the Bar in California in 1966, Mr. Bleuel graduated from St. Mary’s College of California (B.A. in Psychology 1963) received his legal education from Hastings College of Law (J.D. 1966), and a masters degree in taxation from Golden State University (M.S. 1984). He was in the U.S. Navy, then served in the Sacramento District Attorneys Office, and has been in private practice since 1973. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the United States Tax Court.

Concentration: Mr. Bleuel specializes in trust administration, estate planning and probate fields. In addition to his Master’s Degree in Taxation, He is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate by the Board of Specialization of the California Bar Association. He handles trusts of all types from start to finish. He drafts the trust, counsels clients with the respect to their meaning, and helps the client administer them. He works with clients in all forms of estate and family tax planning, including living trusts, wills, insurance trusts, charitable trusts, family businesses and entities and other forms of succession. He also is a specialist in all matter of probate, including trust administration, estates, conservatorships and guardianships.

Mr. Bleuel belongs to several professional organizations, these include the California State Bar Association, Certified Specialist by the California State Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, Ventura County Bar Association (Past President 1991), Tri – Counties Estate Planning Council, Steering Committee member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Ventura County Bar Association, and former charter member of the Warner Center Estate Planning Council. Mr. Bleuel is a Professor in Wills and Trusts at Southern California Institute of Law and previous instructor in trusts, estate planning, and taxation in several university and law school settings, including USC, CLU, GGU, & UCSB. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Preeminent Law Directory.

He is currently a member of Ventura Kiwanis (Past President and Kiwanian of the Year, Higson Award and Dunlap Award Recipient); Ventura Chamber of Commerce (Past Chairman of the Board and recipient 2001 Shining Star award); Channel Island Clippers (Former President and Barbershopper of the Year); Ventura Education Partnership Director and Executive Committee member; Ventura Commerce & Education Foundation Board member and Vice President; 2002 recipient of the Ben E. Nordman Award for community service; and 2007 Jefferson Award Recipient.
