Kendall VanConas Honored as “Super Lawyer” in New Top Lawyers Publication
February 21, 2018
Managing Partner Kendall VanConas has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” for 2018 in a newly published listing of top attorneys nationwide – a designation earned by only five percent or fewer of Southern California-based lawyers annually.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from over 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations for the nominees. Lawyers may not nominate themselves. Each candidate is evaluated on a dozen indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis and only five percent of nominees win the designation as Super Lawyers. This designation helps consumers who are seeking a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys should they need legal counsel.
VanConas is a certified specialist in estate planning, probate and trust law, and a locally recognized expert in conservatorship law. She joined A to A Law in 2003, became a partner in 2007, and was named as managing partner in 2017.
With over 25 years of experience practicing law and the highest “AV” rating from the independent Martindale-Hubbell rating service, VanConas has served regularly as a Judge Pro Tem in the Ventura County Superior Court Probate Department. She is a past president of the Ventura County Bar Association and has been on the Executive Committee of the VCBA Probate and Estate Planning Section for many years. VanConas served on the Client Relations Committee for over 10 years and in 2012 was named co-chair of the Bench-Bar Committee.
