Biography

Megan Rayburn provides compassionate, strategic advocacy to ensure every client is heard, respected, and defended. She represents individuals, businesses, and public entities in complex litigation, guiding clients through every stage of the legal process – from investigation and discovery to trial and appeal. Her practice is founded on one simple belief: Everyone’s rights are worth protecting.

Before joining A to Z Law, Megan served as a Deputy District Attorney with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office and later as a Deputy Attorney General with the California Office of the Attorney General. With extensive courtroom experience, she has tried numerous jury and bench trials and is known for her thorough preparation, persuasive advocacy, and commitment to achieving the best results for her clients.

Megan is active in the community and has deep roots in Ventura County. As a proud mom of a child with developmental and intellectual disabilities, she is part of the Community Advisory Committee to Ventura County’s Special Education Local Area Plan. Additionally, she volunteers her time to Rescue Mission Alliance and the American Youth Soccer Organization. She is also a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association, and Women Lawyers of Ventura County.

Megan earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law and graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion. When she is not in the courtroom, Megan is chasing her kids around, trying to get them to brush their teeth.
