Free Seminar on Understanding Key Terms in a Business Relationship

Melissa Sayer, a Senior Business Attorney with A to Z law will give a presentation entitled “This Isn’t Working Out — Now What?” on Wednesday, May 23rd.  The seminar will focus on understanding key terms in any business relationship.  Sayer will discuss how to identify and understand key concepts, including: how to end the relationship, whether one party can transfer the agreement to a third party, remedies for breach of the arrangement and the meaning of damage waivers, indemnity or other risk allocation tactics. 

The seminar begins at 8:00 am at the Chamber of Commerce offices at the Train Depot located at 200 N. 10th Street in Santa Paula. The presentation will be in roundtable format where questions and participation from the attendants is encouraged.
